Norwood Public Schools is located in a small ranching community in Southwestern Colorado. Norwood is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, valleys and deep canyons. Amid this beauty is an abundance of wildlife, camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and many winter sports.
The first Norwood Public School was founded in the early 1900’s growing to its present size of 269 students. The school is a K-12 facility with a staff focused on preparing students for the future. Many opportunities are at the student’s disposal to aid them in achieving their academic, athletic, and social development.
